NANAMICA - THE EXPERT FOR OUTDOOR FASHION
Eiichiro Homma, the founder of the Japanese brand Nanamica, is no stranger to the fashion industry. Before founding his own label, Homma worked for the Japanese sporting goods manufacturer Goldwin immediately after completing his studies. His rise was rapid and after a short time he was brand manager of Helly Hansen. He created the iconic neon-coloured nylon sailing jacket with the legendary double H logo for the brand. This was the origin of his path as an expert in high-performance sportswear. During this time, Homma experimented with the latest high-tech textiles such as Gore-Tex and gathered a wealth of experience about the different textiles and their properties. With this knowledge he founded together with designer Takashi Imaki his own brand Nanamica in 2003.
